FAQ & PROJECT GUIDANCE

Questions Before You Start a Custom Packaging Project?

Find practical guidance on specifications, sampling, materials, production, quality and delivery. If your project is different, send the details you already know and we will help define the next step.

Answers are general guidance. Final feasibility, timing and cost depend on the confirmed specification.
01

Starting a Project

Share the product type, internal dimensions, target quantity, reference image or draft, material and finishing preferences, destination and target timing that you already know. If some details are still open, send the available information and the next step can be defined around the confirmed specification.

Yes. A reference image, product dimensions and target quantity are enough to begin the conversation. Finished artwork can be shared later in an accepted file format once the structure and specification are being confirmed.

Senpyr can discuss custom rigid boxes, folding cartons, mailer boxes, paper bags, gift packaging and related paper packaging structures. The suitable route depends on the product, presentation, protection, quantity and confirmed project requirements.

Yes. You can ask to compare more than one structure, material or finishing direction. The useful options depend on the packaging goal, quantity, budget and destination, and the final recommendation is confirmed around the project specification.

02

Design Files & Artwork

Senpyr accepts PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, JPG and PNG files. A reference image is also useful when the artwork or dieline is not final.

No. You can start with the product dimensions, product fit, target quantity and a reference image or draft. The structure and final dieline are confirmed before production planning.

Yes. Send the information you have, such as a reference image, product dimensions, quantity, preferred material and finishing direction. Complete artwork is not required to start the packaging discussion.

A screen preview and a physical package use different materials, inks, finishes and viewing conditions. Review print expectations against the approved reference or sample on the planned material before production.

03

Structure, Materials & Finishes

Start with the product dimensions, protection needs, presentation goal, shipping conditions, quantity and budget. Those details help compare a structure that fits the product and the way it will be handled.

Yes. Paper or board direction, printing and finishes can be discussed around the structure, product use, appearance, protection and budget. The final selection is confirmed with the project specification and approval reference.

An insert may be useful when the product needs positioning, protection, presentation or separation between components. The insert direction depends on the product fit, structure, material and packing requirements.

A change can help balance product fit, protection, presentation, shipping, production practicality or budget. Any recommendation is discussed against the confirmed requirements rather than treated as a fixed rule.

Yes. Paper-based or lower-plastic directions can be discussed around product protection, function, appearance and shipping needs. The suitable material and any environmental claim must be confirmed for the specific project.

04

MOQ, Pricing & Quotation

Formal orders start at 1 piece for custom paper boxes and 100 pieces for paper bags. Single-piece sampling is a separate service, not a formal order. Special structures and finishes are confirmed on a project-by-project basis.

Price is affected by dimensions, quantity, structure, material, printing, finishing, inserts, packing and delivery requirements. A useful quote needs the most important confirmed details available for the project.

An exact price depends on the confirmed structure, dimensions, quantity, materials, printing, finishing, packing and destination. Send the details you know first so the open points can be identified before the quotation is finalized.

Options can be compared by adjusting structure, material, finishing, insert and packing priorities. The available directions and final cost depend on the confirmed specification and project requirements.

The exact minimum depends on dimensions, quantity, materials, printing, and finishing.

05

Samples & Approval

Custom samples are typically completed in approximately 3–4 days after the specifications and artwork are confirmed. The final timing depends on the sample route and confirmed project requirements.

A structural sample focuses on dimensions, fit, folds, closure and insert placement. A printed sample focuses on the artwork, print expectations and finishing on the planned material. The suitable sample route depends on the approval goal.

The sample fee can be credited toward a bulk order when this is included in the confirmed project terms. Sample fee treatment is not assumed before the order details are agreed.

Approve the dimensions and product fit, material, artwork, print and color expectations, finishing, inserts, packing and quantity. The final checklist follows the confirmed specification and approval route.

06

Production & Quality Control

Confirm the final specification, quantity, artwork or other files, packing requirements and destination. Production planning and timing are then coordinated around the approved sample and confirmed project scope.

Photos or videos can be arranged at key stages when agreed for the project. The useful stages and format depend on the confirmed scope and communication plan.

The quality discussion can cover six checkpoints: specification, material, print and color, die-cut and structure, finished product, and packing or pre-shipment. The checks are aligned with the approved specification and product condition.

Third-party inspection can be arranged upon request. The timing, scope and inspection details are confirmed around the project and delivery plan.

Relevant production arrangement information can be discussed during quotation when it matters to quality, timing or cost. The information available depends on the confirmed project and is not presented as an unverified factory ownership or equipment claim.

07

Lead Time, Shipping & Delivery

Timing is reviewed after the dimensions, materials, finishing, quantity, approved files or sample and delivery destination are clear. Any timing shared is project-specific and remains subject to the confirmed specification and production schedule.

Courier, air, sea or door-to-door delivery can be discussed and arranged according to the project. The suitable method, timing and cost depend on the destination, packing and confirmed order.

Share the destination country, city and postal code, plus the quantity, packed dimensions or carton information, estimated weight and any delivery handling requirements that are known.

Door-to-door delivery can be arranged when suitable for the route and project. Final timing, cost, handling and destination requirements are confirmed for the specific order.

Prepare the destination country, city and postal code, confirmed quantity and packing information, delivery handling requirements and any timing priority. These details help confirm the transport route and handoff.
